Exquisite soft colors on this beautifully dressed pair. From an estate sale; the owner, in his sixties, remembers his mother having them on the mantle in the 1940's, but had no other history. They have no marks. The gent is missing the last joint on his left index and pinkie fingers, his lady has lost her pinkie completely and possibly a purse or the loop holding her shawl. (see close up). There is NO other damage even on the very delicate flowers and ribbons. $325.00 plus $10.00 shipping US., outside US, at cost.
Large, 5' 3" by 3' 7 1/2", wall map published by the National Wholesale Druggists' Association in 1930. The map shows " the chief areas in each state or country where ores and minerals yielding medicinal chemicals are being mined at this time." Lots of neat graphics, vignettes of mines, chemical plants and equipment and methods of transportation -including a Zeppelin. On the back of the map is an index of names of all important U.S.P. and N.F. chemicals, chemists, druggists and manufacturers.
Wooden, 9 1/2 by 16 1/4 inch board with 18 holes that fit various brightly painted animals, shapes and people. They had only one child and she was under 8 years old when they left China for the States. It is in fine condition with only the smallest amount of paint wear. $12.00 plus $6.00 shipping
