Happy 14th Birthday to the
BEST Akita girl! 10/31/07

IT IS ALWAYS NICE TO FIND A COMFY PLACE TO NAP....
EVEN IF SOME ACCOMMODATION MUST BE MADE!
Happy Birthday to my best girl! 13 years old on
Halloween '06- no trick, but plenty of treats.
The soulful look is because of an unopened bag of
liver brownies- dog torture.....

Updates! 12/8/05 - One more to the mix. Lily, a two year old RagaMuffin,
has joined the menagerie. She is settling in nicely after only 5 days and is
beginning to
find her task in the furry workforce.
First, being shown around by the shop steward... then checking out the phone lines... and commenting on the clutter,
before settling in to her cubicle to supervise her staff. Lily will soon be taking
over a managerial position

April 2005 Our new
boy-Spike, a 12 week old seal mitted Ragdoll. Complete with ATTITUDE!

Tsuba likes him- an animated stuffed toy.... she is very
gentle with him but we supervise!

Spike- 8 months old and getting to be a big boy! He likes our Junker art furniture.

He also does pedicures...
plays Pattycake...

...or sometimes just hangs out with good friends listening to conversation...

until nap time.
( 8/12/05)

And now ANOTHER new addition...a Siamese boy to keep Spike from turning into a big
fluffy soccerball! 10/1/05

and he has fit in perfectly...a typical Siamese-always investigating.

"Wonder what happens if I pull this string?"

Oh...

The kids

This is a Widget,at 14 weeks,my own
favorite Mixkita and my senior girl,Tsuba,a purebred Akita at 6 years old.

Here is Tsuba at 11 years old and a picture from last winter of Widget and the
latest addition,Bullet, a Border Collie who decided to move in with us all on his own!

"I was told ...that the Akita head should be so flat as to
be able to place a teacup and saucer on a dogs head without it wobbling at all.
"

"Mom, are you NUTS? You woke me up for this? Get a table."

This chatty boy was Shikari.
He was an Ocicat/Siamese cross he had to
cross the Rainbow Bridge in 2004, due to liver cancer.
He was joined by his mom, Tical, in
2005.

Chedi- posing as a loaf of bread
and watching me file books. Checking my work is one of her jobs.
